Last_Day Database Functions Usage In Helical Insight

In this blog, we will learn how to display last day of the corresponding month from date/datetime column in Helical Insight.

  1. Below you can see we are having a date in the format “YYYY:MM:DD HH:MM:SS”.

  2. If we want to display last day of the corresponding month for a date/datetime value, click on Travel Date column.

  3. Click on more, user will get two options i.e., Quick and Advanced

  4. Click on “Advanced” Tab, in this you will see a function called “last_day”. Double click on that function and then drag down the Travel Date column in the selected last_day function box at the bottom.click on Save button

  5. Click on “Generate” report. You will see the desired output as below.
