Tooltip Customization in Gauge

In this blog, we shall see how to customize the tooltip for the gauge chart in Helical Insight. The customization is same for both linear and circular gauge.

In order to apply customization, click on the “Customize” button on report create or report edit page.


Tooltip is displayed when we hover on the marker of the linear or circular gauge.


Double click on the Tooltip icon customization to display the following modal window.


Set the font type, size, color and background for both the heading and contents of the tooltip.


Click Ok. The tooltip icon will be highlighted. Click on the small tick next to “Customization” to apply the customization.


The tooltip has been customized.


In order to hide the tooltip completely, click on the toggle button so that it turns red. Click Ok and then click the small tick to apply the customization.
