Adjusting Column Width in Tabular Report in Helical Insight

When a tabular report is created the product automatically tries to adjust the width. So when the number of dragged columns are more the width becomes so small that it might not be visible. In those cases you have the flexibility to adjust the column width and specify with width, accordingly a horizontal scroll might come in case if width is more than the screen size. In this blog, we will see how to change the column width in tabular report of Helical Insight.

In order to apply customization to the tabular report, click on the “Customize” button on report create or report edit page.



In Helical Insight, the column width is adjusted automatically to fit the viewing screen. You can adjust the column width by using the Adjust Column Width script.

Double click on Adjust Column Width icon to open the modal window.

Set the width of the columns in pixels for each column on the tabular report as shown below. Click on Ok.

The Adjust Column Width icon is highlighted. Click on the small tick to apply the script.
