Levels of Security

Helical Insight has 4 levels of security:

  1. Organisation: Data belonging to a particular organisation will be seen only to the users belonging to that organisation. No other user belonging to different organisation can access that data.
  2. User: A user can share files with the other user/role within his organisation
  3. Role: Users belonging to same role can share files with other and not with other roles. E.g. Financial manager can share reports only with other Financial manager and not the other user belonging to his organisation
  4. Profile: A particular organisation can have multiple users with same role. For example, an organisation can have multiple sales managers but they are selling different products. So in that case, admin can assign them profiles on the basis of the product they are selling. Hence, the sales managers selling different products can see reports belonging to their product only.
