Polar Chart

In this article we will be explaining about Polar chart and when to use it.

Polar chart is similar to that of a Radar chart. A Polar chart displays a series as a set of points that are grouped by Dimension variables on a 360-degree circle. Value of the ‘Measures’ are represented by the length of the point as measured from the center of the circle. The farther the point is from the center, the greater its value. Dimension variables are displayed on the perimeter of the chart.

Helical Insight has a built-in Polar chart option available.

For creating a Polar chart, a dimension and one or more measures are required. Users can simply drag these columns in the selection area and click on the Polar chart icon from the charts array. Further, users can make customization’s using CSS, HTML, Java Script and also through the UI.
