A Time Series chart is a graph that you can use to evaluate patterns and behaviour in data over time. Time Series chart displays observation on the y-axis against equally spaced time intervals on the x-axis.
Time Series charts are often used to examine daily, weekly, seasonal or annual variations, or before-and-after effects of a process change. For example, you could examine monthly travel expenses for the previous year as shown below:

For creating a Time Series chart, time-stamp or date column and a measure is required. Users can simply drag these columns in the selection area and click on the Time Series chart icon from the charts array. Further, users can make customizations using CSS, HTML, Java Script and also through the UI.
