Table Customization Properties: Records per page

This property is valid for Open Source BI product Helical Insight version 5.0 1083 build onwards. By default records per page is 10 but in some cases you may want that the report should open, by default, with some other number of records per page. But using this option you can select how many records that need to appear on a single page.

Go to properties by selecting 3 dots (meatball icon) beside visualization and within that select 3 dots(meatball icon) besides title and go to Table. In that you can observe an option called Records Per Page.

It accepts positive number. Here I typed 5 so that the number of records per page is 5.

If you would like to open the report in such a way that it opens with all the records, then set it as -1. After setting the properties please regenerate the report to see it in action.

When -1 is used then it will fetch all the records and you can see at the bottom how many pages are there but it will still show only 10 by 10 pages. Whereas in case of other values it does not show total how many pages are there at the bottom.

NOTE: Setting -1 or putting a very high number can impact the performance. Hence please use it judiciously.
