Adding Multiselect Checkbox in Dashboard Designer

In this blog, we shall see how to add a mutliselect checkbox as an input parameter on the dashboard designer in Helical Insight.
The checkbox option will work with only multiselect filters. Hence, at the report level, select “Is One Of” or “Is not One Of” option in the Filter Condition.

In order to add a report filter as input parameter, hover on the report in the dashboard designer. Click on Filter icon. A list of filters will appear. Select the filter that you want and it will be added to the dashboard designer as a panel.

Alternatively, you can right click on the report. You will get the option of Filter. When you hover on it, the list of filters will appear from which you can select.

Hover on the filter panel. On the left, you can see a pencil icon. This is the Edit button.

Alternatively, right click on the input parameter panel. Go to “Settings”. Click on Edit option.

In the “Type” dropdown, select “Multiselect Checkbox” and click on Save to save the settings.

Refresh the dashboard. Checkbox appears for the input parameter.
