Change the report in Dashboard Designer

Starting from Helical Insight version 5.2.2, a new feature has been introduced to allow changing the report in the Dashboard Designer.

In some cases, the existing report might be corrupted, or you may want to replace it with a new report. This feature can also be used to create dashboard template with a styling, look and feel. Then simply the reports can be changed without the need to rework on the entire styling, look and feel etc.

Steps to follow:

1. Open/Edit the dashboard and hover over the report you want to change.

2. Click on the icon highlighted in the screenshot below.

3. It opens the file browser. Now you can search for or navigate to the new report which you would like to put here instead of the current report. Select/double click the report.

The new report will then be added in the same position with the same dimensions and styling.
