Column Banding in Tabular Report in Helical Insight

In this blog, we will see how to apply column banding in tabular report of Helical Insight. With column banding every alternate column can be given a different color, thus improving readability.

In order to apply customization to the tabular report, click on the “Customize” button on report create or report edit page.



Column banding is used for easy differentiation between adjacent columns. You can give different colours to even and odd columns for a banded effect. By default, no column banding is applied.

Double click on the column banding icon. The following modal window will appear.



Click on the toggle button to define custom colours for the odd and even bands as shown. Click on Ok.



The Column Banding icon will be highlighted. Click on the small tick to apply the customization.

 

Column banding has been applied with the custom columns defined.
